Once again I'm playing catch up. February was 6 months ago, so I'll add commentary where I can remember it. Otherwise, enjoy the nice pictures :)
We discovered that the bowling alley a couple blocks away from us had a family deal for weekend mornings, so we went a few time this winter/spring for an hour of family bowling. The kids enjoyed the first 30 minutes, then we transitioned to me chasing them around the alley while Brian finished the rest of our frames.
Jo's feet were 1 size too small for even their smallest shoes.
The double stroller getting some use on the way home from bowling.
What happened here?
Jo working on her fork skills. She'd pick up 1 noodle with her fingers, place it on the table and spear it. I believe the green cup is full of frozen peas. Yum.
For Valentine's Day we decorated cookies. Teddy diligently frosted and decorated many cookies. Jo gave her 1 cookie a quick swipe of icing and decided to cut out the middle man and eat the frosting directly. Can't blame her.
Ready for another bowling outing, I presume.
We went with some friends (and Grandma and Grandpa) to Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay. Both Teddy and Jo rode a pony. I was very proud of Teddy for riding the pony since he can be pretty tentative about such adventures.
Feeding goats.
Doing puzzles later on.
More puzzles.
Swings.
Climbing.
This photo feels like a frame from a Wes Anderson movie. Stack of cups, blueberry muffin, block crayons all lined up.
Climbing the hill at the park.
Whee!
For Jo's 2nd birthday party we rented a bounce house. They loved it. They bounced all day. Teddy proclaimed he wanted one for his birthday, too. Stay tuned to see if he got one... (spoiler, we rented the exact same one 3 months later).
I don't know what prompted this picture, but we got the kids into matching Leroy's sweatshirts that my mom had squirreled away.
