The weekend before Teddy's birthday we went down to San Diego. Teddy had his second swimming excursion and this one was a definite success. He loved it!
Plus we got to hang out with Matt and Patti which made it even more fun.
Teddy also went on his first bike ride, which he took in stride. I guess he thinks it only reasonable that we should shuttle him about and his feet should never touch the ground.
The next weekend we celebrated his birthday in our backyard with a mini County Fair theme. Teddy did a faceplant on the brick patio the morning of the party, so he had a lovely road rash on his cheek all day. He was pretty mellow all day; little did we know he was coming down with Hand Foot and Mouth disease, a rash that would keep us home from work most of the next week.
Regardless, it was a great day spent with family and friends!
