Baby Slugger

Jo got jealous of all the Teddy/baseball posts, so we put this together to even things out...
Too bad she's covering up the little tag on the front that says, "Just like Dad"

Tee ball with Grandma and Grandpa Rouspil

Teddy got in some more batting practice on Sunday with a little help from Coach Rouspil.

He still favors the one handed swing :)

The never-ending runny nose...

Grandma and Grandpa both managed to sneak in some snuggles with Jo

The hugging chair

There's something about a helpless baby sitting at ground level that Teddy finds irresistible.
Must be Hugging Time!

Sneaky Bear

Last weekend it was pretty warm, so Teddy got to sleep in his new Cars pajamas (thanks, Grandma!)
On Saturday morning, we left the side door open for Reggie to come and go and it didn't take long for Teddy to seize the opportunity to sneak outside. Brian and I found him a couple minutes later, minus one Cookie Monster slipper, soaking wet with a grin from ear to ear. Sprinklers are so much fun!!!

We also broke out this tee ball set last week which Teddy loves. He's still working on the two-handed swing, though.

Josie smiles

Our little Josie Bird is a big smiler. She loves to flash her gums at us!

Rouspil love

Is there such a thing as too much attention?

Mama's little squirmers

Between Josie's lack of limb control and Teddy's toddler energy, this is about the best group photo a mother could hope for...

Little Sister

Teddy loves his little sister (Joe-shee, as he calls her).

Being "helpful"...

Easter

We had a busy Easter Sunday - Church, 2 parties, 3 egg hunts and 1 naptime snuck in there somewhere. And lots of Teddy's new favorite: CHOCOLATE!!!

Ready for the hunt...

Is she chocolate on the inside, too?

Saving some for later...

Exhausted...

Where did March go?

I don't know where last month went, it flew by so quickly.
We're getting back into the swing of life with an infant. Jo's a good baby; she's pretty mellow most of the time though there have been a couple days where she doesn't seem to want to be put down for even a second. She's not as good of a night sleeper as Teddy was at this age, but I think we were pretty spoiled with him. Every week she seems to be sleeping a little bit longer at a time, so that's progress and we'll take it gladly.

Here are a few pictures from March:

Teddy and Daddy being silly

Jo taking her first bottle. Phew, she won't starve when I go back to work.

Teddy and Jo (and Thor) snuggle in her chair.
