We spent Sunday morning joining the O'Connors at Webb Ranch in Portola Valley. They've leased their land from Stanford since 1920 and are the only working farm left on the Peninsula.
Well, a lot has happened since our last post, and I think there might be some "make up" posts coming for events prior to this, but... well, Teddy a busy little bear!
So, Laurie had to go to China for work for a couple weeks and aside from the cereal and fig newtons for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Daddy and Teddy managed to have some fun here and there.
"Fun" to Teddy is playing as many sports as possible... could be the fact that Daddy doesn't watch anything but "the news" on television (and by "the news" I mean ESPN) or the other fact one of his favorite words is "Ball!".
Here's a little glimpse into what a finely tuned athlete like Teddy goes through; waking up, breakfast, playing, and of course, his celebration dance (which is mostly him shaking his head until he gets dizzy).
We like to call it the "One Cookie Monster Slipper Shimmy Shake" dance.
Last Saturday we took a trip down to Gilroy Gardens the Horticultural Theme Park. It had lots of activities for little kids and it was a great time. I'm sure we'll be back next summer when Teddy is big enough to enjoy more of the rides.
We went to the Giant's game on Saturday to celebrate Brian's birthday. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. If only the Giant's had managed to win...
